Melanie proudly coaches teams of UCL students for cyber policy challenge competitions including the UK Cyber Leaders Challenge and the Atlantic Council’s Cyber 9/12 Challenge. Counting it amongst her greatest achievements, she has led teams to the finals and semi-finals of competitions in the UK and online in Geneva and Washington DC, and has helped teams win the UK title in 2022 and 2024, as well as first runner-up in 2023. Many of these students have now gone onto careers in the cyber or tech policy ecosystem and she will be watching them proudly as they indeed go on to become shining tech policy stars.
